Moises Tobias, an 11th grader at Marlton School, is one of four students recently named as a winner in the annual Digital Arts, Film and Animation Competition for high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The contest is sponsored by the Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Institute for the Deaf (RIT/NTID), and winners were selected from entries submitted from across the country. Each person receives a $250 award.

Tobias won for his film “Hate.”

RIT/NTID is one of nine colleges established by Congress in 1965 to provide college opportunities to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who are underemployed in technical fields.
