Police this week were seeking three suspects who burglarized Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig’s Encino home.
The break-in — the second within a month at the residence in the 5300 block of Louise Avenue — occurred about 8 p.m. Tuesday while the right fielder was at Dodger Stadium for his team’s late-season walk-off win over the Colorado Rockies.
It was unclear whether anything was taken from the home. The suspects were described only as three men in their 20s who fled in a black four-door Toyota, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
TMZ.com reported that police were called to the residence after one of Puig’s assistants got a security alert on his phone, showing three men leaving the athlete’s property.
“Yasiel has a security camera set up that captures motion, and it automatically sends the video to a cell phone programmed to receive it,” accord
