One person was killed in a vehicle crash into a light pole in south Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened about 9:10 p.m. June 16 at the intersection of South Western Avenue and West 105th Street, the CHP reported.
L.A. County Fire Department paramedics responded to the accident scene but did not transport anyone, said Dispatch Supervisor Miguel Ornelas.
At press time, there was no word on the age of the person who died. Also, the deceased’s name was withheld until notification is made to the family.
The crash is being investigated by the CHP.
