The Lancaster Performing Arts Center Foundation (LPACF) invites patrons to don their finest pearls, feathers, and fedoras for the sixth annual Speakeasy fundraiser at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the the Lancaster Performing Arts Center, 750 Lancaster Blvd.
Step back into the 1920s as you kick up your heels to the rhythm of the boisterous Grammy-nominated California Feetwarmers. This evening filled with frivolity, fun, and flair will be complete with blackjack, poker, craps, and roulette – offering chances to win unique prizes. Enjoy a freshly rolled cigar in the outdoor lounge sponsored by H.W. Hunter Inc.; photo fun in the Spotlight Photo Booth sponsored by Dr. Ruwanthi Campano; delicious hors d’oeuvres; and a cash bar. A roaring good time will be had by all.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the LPAC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Federal Tax ID# 95-4221909), which: provides Arts for Youth ticket scholarships and bus funding assistance to thousands of Antelope Valley students; funds outreaches and workshops on local school campuses; and also awards an annual performing arts scholarship in support of higher education within the arts.
The foundation also contributes toward capital and facility enhancements at LPAC, providing a beautiful venue that will continue to serve our community for many years to come.
The foundation board of directors consists of R.
