Author and African-American healthcare expert, Dr. Richard Allen Williams, will be featured in a lecture and luncheon titled “The History of blacks in Medicine,” from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29 in the Keck Auditorium of the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, 1731 E. 120th St., Los Angeles.
Admission is $25 in advance and $40 at the door. There is complimentary admission for CDU, UCLA, USC and other medical students with ID. Tickets include a soul food lunch reception featuring the RAW Sugar jazz band.
