The Department of Public Social Services will be holding a “Summer Care Kit Donation Drive through Aug. 31. The department’s Volunteer Services Section is gathering items for the homeless. Donated items will be distributed in September.
Donations may include, but are not limited to: Newly purchased or homemade face masks, socks, underwear, shampoo, body wash, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, toilet paper, wipes, deodorant and reusable tote bags.
Due to COVID-19, used items will not be accepted.
