The City of Lancaster and the Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH), invites all Lancaster residents to shape Lancaster’s culture and participate in the Master Cultural Plan survey.
The 23-question survey is open through Dec. 31 and offers a chance to win a grand prize of Apple AirPods or a $50 Apple gift card.
The City and MOAH are committed to a plan created by visionary thinkers — the community of Lancaster. By participating in the survey, residents will help chart the roadmap for Lancaster’s cultural, economic, and educational growth.
“Lancaster is known as a global destination for our innovation, creativity, and excellence in arts,” said Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris. “As proud as we rightly are of our city today, we must continue to look forward and ensure an even better future for our community. The more participation we have from Lancaster residents as we develop our cultural plan, the more meaningful and inspiring the vision will be for our future.”
The City of Lancaster s Master Cultural Plan, 2021-2026, will be developed based upon the community s survey inputs and published in early 2021. The new plan will expand upon the previously published 2016-2020 Cultural Plan.
The cultural planning process provides an opportunity to focus as a community on how arts and culture enhance the quality of life for those who live and work in Lancaster. Through a shared focus on culture, the Lancaster community has the potential to:
