Vice President Kamala Harris wore an outfit for her historic Inauguration Day ceremony that made a statement: Her all-purple ensemble was created by Christopher John Rogers, a Black designer from Louisiana, reports the Huffington Post. The Christopher John Rogers Instagram account posted a photo of Harris wearing the designer’s purple coat and dress.
“Thank you, Madam Vice President,” the post read. “We are so honored and humbled to have played a small part in this historic moment.”
