Sheriff’s officials have launched an investigation into a homicide that occurred in Lancaster.
The fatal shooting occurred around 10 p.m. Feb. 13 in the 44000 block of Third Street East, according to sources at the scene, where a man was found shot dead and a woman also reportedly suffered a gunshot wound.
Paramedics dispatched to the location at 10:15 p.m. rushed one person to an area hospital, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the homicide, but had no other immediate information.
