Lucky Luke Brewing Company has teamed up with local organizations to help put together a 14.2 mile bike ride benefiting Resurrection Cycles. The event, Tour de Luke, will take place on Saturday, July 17 at 8 a.m.
Tour de Luke cyclists will start at the Lucky Luke Brewing Pub on Lancaster Boulevard, then bike to Lucky Luke Brewing in Palmdale on West Avenue O, then back to The BLVD. Participants can register for the Charity Ride at $30 each which includes a free beer after the event. All proceeds will benefit Resurrection Cycles. VIP registration includes a limited edition T-shirt, a water bottle and a 20-percent discount at Resurrection Cycles in Lancaster.
Lucky Luke Brewing has two locations in the Antelope Valley and just announced the third opening this fall in Santa Clarita. With a focus on crafted beers and food, the final element of their mission is to support community events.
Resurrection Cycles is newly opened on Lancaster Blvd and focuses on changing lives by providing the tools to get people working and the wheels to get there. We wanted to create a fun summer event that promoted getting outside and moving your body, said Samantha Schmitz of Lucky Luke Brewing.
Both the cities of Lancaster and Palmdale will assist with traffic control and provide support for the cyclists.
