The City of Palmdale, LA County Fire Department, Palmdale Sheriff Station, Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T), and other community partners will host an in-person Disaster Preparedness presentation on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 6 p.m.
This multi-agency training, initially scheduled for the Chimbole Cultural Center, will instead take place at Legacy Commons, 930 E Ave Q-9. This educational presentation will offer suggestions on how to properly prepare for various disaster situations, including earthquakes, flood, and wildfire.

Additional presentations with Palmdale Public Safety staff are available on Thursday, Jan. 19 at 8:30 a.m. at Legacy Commons and on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. at Legacy Commons.
All presentations are free and open to the public and will provide information and resources on easy and cost-effective ways to prepare for a disaster.
