South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) is looking for volunteers in all positions to help Palmdale sustain the lives of thousands of people by assisting them with nutritious food, education, and referrals in cooperation with other agencies.

Attend an orientation to learn about the available SAVES positions and the job duties, responsibilities, and schedules for each volunteer opportunity. Those who wish to become SAVES volunteers must attend a 30-minute orientation; submit a volunteer application; work three shifts (12 hours total) at SAVES in the desired position; and pass a fingerprint screening.

Orientations are available on Tuesday Feb.  28, at 5 p.m. and on Thursday March 2, at 9 a.m. Sign up today at: https://signup.com/go/jFpJrAY.

Founded in 1983, SAVES works to alleviate hunger among very low and extremely low-income individuals, working families, the elderly, the disabled, and the homeless in the South Antelope Valley.
