Sunday Night Singers

The Sunday Night Singers (SNS) has been invited to participate in the prestigious International Choral Festival in Missoula, Mo. The event is themed "World Harmony Under the Big Sky" and brings together choirs from around the globe for a week-long celebration of musical and cultural exchange. The festival is set to take place from July 19-22.

This marks the second consecutive invitation for The Sunday Night Singers to the festival, following their successful participation in the 2019 edition. It is a rare honor to be reinvited to consecutive festivals, highlighting the impressive talent and captivating performances of the choir.

With Artistic Director Mike McCullough, SNS will set out on their musical adventure to Montana on July 18, and they are scheduled to return to California on July 23. The International Choral Festival in Missoula will showcase a diverse array of choirs representing countries such as Costa Rica, Estonia, Lithuania, Uganda, and Taiwan. The Sunday Night Singers will represent the United States, specifically California and the  Antelope Valley community. With a group of 30 singers, SNS is set to captivate large audiences throughout the festival with their voices and dynamic repertoire.

To commemorate their participation in this global event, the Sunday Night Singers will be hosting a celebratory concert titled "Road to Montana." This special concert will showcase the music they will be performing at the festival, offering a unique opportunity for local audiences to experience their repertoire. The "Road to Montana" concert will take place on July 16 at Lancaster MOAH, 665 W. Lancaster Blvd., at 2 p.m. Admission is free.

The Sunday Night Singers provides a platform for hundreds of singers in Antelope Valley, and beyond, to come together and create music for the past 18 years. What began as a small group of Palmdale High School alumni with a shared passion for singing has evolved into a thriving nonprofit organization that represents the true diversity found in Los Angeles County.

SNS always appreciates the support of the community and relies on the generosity of the public to make these incredible programs happen. With many exciting news and projects on the horizon, The Sunday Night Singers welcome donations from individuals and organizations who share their dedication to fostering musical excellence and cultural enrichment.
