Sept. 3 in Pearblossom
A woman found shot to death in Pearblossom earlier this month has been identified.
She was 43-year-old Trisha Ann Cook, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.
The shooting was reported just before 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 3, near 130th Street East and Avenue R-4, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Homicide Bureau.
Responding deputies found Cook with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body, sheriff’s officials said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Suspect information was not immediately available.
A source at the scene said she was found inside a trailer parked at a homeless encampment. No further information on the incident was immediately available.
