One-man show Oct. 14
The Palmdale Playhouse will present “In the Shadow of the Raven” on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7 pm. This unique one-person play features Broadway and film veteran Duffy Hudson as Edgar Allan Poe, piecing together the events of his life as he suddenly rises from the scene of his mysterious death.
Using a combination of biographical information and the dramatic interpretation of Poe’s literature, including “Annabel Lee,” “The Raven,” and “The Tell-Tale Heart,” Hudson provides a unique, in-depth theatrical experience working with one of America’s best-known and enigmatic personalities. A Q&A will follow the performance.
