For ‘kids of all ages’

The ever-popular Haunt at the Hangar at the Lancaster Municipal Stadium is back for another year of spooky thrills. Be there on Oct. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. for this complimentary, family-centric Halloween festival.

Haunt at the Hangar offers delightful frights for specters and sorcerers of every age, whether you crave heart-stopping chills or prefer lighter eerie delights.

"It's always a treat to see Haunt at the Hangar come alive in the heart of Lancaster," said Lancaster Mayor Rex R. Parris. "Our city thrives on moments like these – when we can revel in the company of loved ones, friends, and neighbors in our community."

All are encouraged to don their most "spook-tacular" attire for an evening of trick-or-treating, costume competitions, and enchanting photo-ready moments.

The event's highlights include a caricature artist (new this year), arts and crafts, balloon animals, face painting, and an array of hauntingly delicious treats including candy corn, kettle corn, candy apples, apple cider, and so much more.

But wait! There’s much more to scream about as there will be a screening of Monsters Inc.' at 6:30 p.m.

Attendees will be captivated by a custom haunted maze, where they can choose to navigate through a bone-chilling corridor of frights or opt for a more whimsical, child-friendly route.

Be sure to check the City of Lancaster website for a full list of sponsors and the “eerie ensemble” who help to make this event  possible. While admission is free, some activities, attractions, and vendors might have associated costs.

Find The Hangar (Lancaster Municipal Stadium) at 45116 Valley Central Way. For more details on Haunt at the Hangar, visit www.cityoflancasterca.gov/haunt.
