A man was shot to death in Compton and an investigation was underway to determine who did it.
The shooting was reported at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, in the 15100 block of White Avenue, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Arriving deputies found the man on the sidewalk with apparent gunshot wounds to his lower body, sheriff's officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
