Through July 20

The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH), 665 W. Lancaster Blvd., and MOAH:CEDAR are hosting the 39th Annual All-Media Juried Art Exhibition from June 1 through July 20, at MOAH:CEDAR. An opening reception will be held on June 1, from 4 to 6 p.m., with the awards ceremony taking place at 6 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Hall, 44857 Cedar Ave., in Lancaster.

The Annual All-Media Art exhibition showcases regional creative talent from around the 5th Supervisorial District of Los Angeles County and the Antelope Valley. Visit moahcedar.org/juried-show for more information.

Participants will have the opportunity to be awarded cash prizes and a chance to have their artwork purchased to be included in the museum’s permanent collection. This year, local artists may opt in to be considered for the Emerging Artist Workshop Opportunity Award.

The winning artist will be provided with a small stipend to host an Emerging Artist Workshop, in which they will work with MOAH staff to organize a presentation on their work or techniques to the public.

Visitors are also encouraged to follow the Lancaster Museum of Art and History and vote for their favorite pieces using #MOAHPeoplesChoice on Instagram and to vote in person at MOAH:CEDAR up until the week of closing.

The artwork earning the most votes will be announced at the closing on July 20. Many other awards are also available. This year’s jurors include Marisa Caichiolo, artist and curator, Building Bridges Art Exchange, and Jason Jenn, artist and curator, L.A. Art Documents.

The Lancaster Museum of Art and History is dedicated to strengthening awareness, enhancing accessibility, and igniting the appreciation of art, history, and culture in the Antelope Valley through dynamic exhibitions, innovative educational programs, creative community engagement, and a vibrant collection that celebrates the richness of the region.

MOAH is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours on Thursdays and Fridays until 8 p.m. For more information, call the museum at (661) 723-6250 or visit www.lancastermoah.org.
