Inside parked vehicle
A woman was found shot to death in a parked vehicle in Compton.
The shooting was reported just before 11 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of South Holly Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, who was said to be in her late 50s, was found seated in a parked vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, the department said.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives began an immediate crime scene investigation. There were no further updates at press time.
