‘Bird Walk’ at Woodland Preserve

If you’re looking for a fun and creative way to get in touch with nature, then look no further. Prime Desert Woodland Preserve is hosting a Bird Walk on Saturday, June 1. The bird walk will begin at 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. The Prime Desert Woodland Preserve is located at 43201 35th St. W. in Lancaster.

The bird walk will be led by knowledgeable city staff and members of the Antelope Valley Audubon Society. This walk will provide a closer look at diverse avian species of the Antelope Valley.  This walk will provide a unique look at diverse avian species of the Antelope Valley. The event is free and open to the public. 

If you have binoculars, you are encouraged to bring them to have an up close and personal view of the beautiful birds. It is important to pay special attention to the weather forecast for the day and dress accordingly, also to wear appropriate shoes. Arrive on time for the briefing session and to ensure a smooth bird walk.
